The Brazos River Bend Hitchhiker Walking Stick is named after our nearby Brazos River, and one look at this staff's unique bends and twists -- coupled with its “hitchhiker” style -- lets you know that this walking stick lives up to its name!
This River Bend walking stick is truly one-of-a-kind. Each piece of hardwood ash is carefully chosen, cut to its unique “river bend hitchhiker” pattern, worked on a router, then sanded to a smooth perfection. Finally, each staff is stained in one of several attractive colors, magnifying the wood's intrinsic beauty. After the walking stick is stained, it is sprayed with a protective clear coat lacquer.
This one-of-a-kind staff is sure to turn heads every where you go! Its thumb-esque handle and river bend design is sure to be a conversation starter whether your trekking through popular hiking trails or casual neighborhood sidewalks. Due to its unique design, we do not recommend this walking stick to anyone over 200 pounds.
Each Brazos River Bend Hitchhiker Walking Stick comes in one of three sizes: a “child's” 41-inch size, a 48-inch size, and a 55-inch size. The staff comes with a standard rubber ferrule for a firm, secure grip on virtually any surface. Each walking stick can also be personalized with with with laser engraving, making it a walking staff is that is uniquely yours.
